Dark chocolate 70% filled with port wine and figs ganache
A timeless classic with a sugar substitute: figs in port are a classic dessert or cocktail and now they come as a dessert chocolate by Zotter as well. We use a Portuguese Reserve Ruby Port by Romariz with an extremely fruity flavor, matured in oak barrels, let it flow into a very creamy, dark port ganache and add some bits of fig marinated in port, which pop up as a fruity and excitingly crunchy surprise. It's covered in dark chocolate with a 70% cacao content, which is sweetened with maple sugar, an exciting sugar alternative.

Tasting tip

Like fine wine, chocolate is best enjoyed at room temperature to fully experience its aroma and flavor. We recommend tasting chocolate between 20°C and 25°C, with dark chocolate on the warmer end and white chocolate slightly cooler.
